Eid ul Adha 2020

Friday, July 31 is Eid ul Adha. Islamic Society of Tracy (Masjid Imam Bukhari) coordinated with Tracy Islamic Center (TIC) to perform Eid ul Adha at TIC located at 11970 West Larch Road.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and State Order, Eid prayer will be performed outdoor at the paved parking lot and landscape area.

Since there is a limited area assigned for prayer, TIC unfortunately cannot accommodate sisters and children under 12 years old to participate at the Eid prayer. We apologize excluding sisters and Children under 12 from Eid prayer participation. It is not recommended that elders 65 and above and specially those with health conditions attend the Eid prayer. The State and San Joaquin County Health Department’s guidelines strictly will be followed.

Please follow the following directions:
1- Wear mask all times before, during, and after prayer till you leave the masjid’s vicinities.
2- keep at least 6 feet social distancing.
3-Must bring your own prayer rugs (jaynamaz), chair, and umbrella.
4-All restrooms and Wudu areas will be closed. Please perform Wudu at home.
4) Follow volunteers’ directions where to park and where to pray at designated areas.
5)Perform Eid prayer at your own risk at the TIC facility.
6) All worshipers must leave immediately after the prayers. No socializing, no hand shaking or hugging please.
7) Please stay away from the construction area.
8) Requesting family members to carpool.
9) Once the lawn area and parking area is full, the gates will be closed.

Eid-ul-Adha prayer will be performed twice:

1) *First Eid Salah* – led by Sheikh Basem Abdellatif
Takbeer starts at 7:45 AM
Eid prayer starts at 8:00 AM (SHARP)
2) *Second Eid Salah* – led by Imam Lateef Ur Rahman
Takbeer starts at 9:15 AM
Eid prayer starts at 9:30 AM (SHARP)
